Bashar Jabbarin

Bashar Jabbarin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bashar currently serves as the Head of Foreign Exchange Trading & Liquidity Management at Arab Bank since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director, Head of Treasury Markets & Financial Markets at Standard Chartered Bank from January 2019 to January 2023. Bashar also worked at Bank of Jordan, where they held various roles including Head of Capital Markets from December 2017 to December 2018, Chief Dealer from June 2016 to December 2017, and Treasury Dealer from January 2013 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, they were an IT Team Leader at EY from September 2009 to May 2012 and briefly worked as an Ingot Brokers at INGOT Brokers in 2009.

Bashar Jabbarin earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Information System from The University of Jordan between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Tawjihi degree in the Scientific Stream at Amman Academy School from 1997 to 2004.
