Lin Louie

Lin Louie is an accomplished professional in the field of chemical and biomolecular engineering, currently serving as Associate Director of Process Chemistry & Manufacturing at Aralez Bio since January 2025. Prior to this role, Lin held various leadership positions at Lygos, including Director of Process Engineering and Associate Director of Process Scaleup, and served as Staff Process Development Engineer and Senior Process Development Engineer at Zymergen, where significant contributions included leading downstream process development for enzyme products. Lin's experience also encompasses the role of Director of DSP and Chemistry at Visolis, where management of a team and development of commercial products were key achievements. Educationally, Lin holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's Degree from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Notable research initiatives include work as a Fulbright Scholar and early research projects focused on sustainable and environmentally friendly processes.
