Shailesh Rao

Shailesh Rao is a seasoned Civil Structural Engineer with extensive experience in major oil and gas projects across various companies. Currently contracted as a PMT Civil/Structural Engineer at Aramco Gulf Operations, Shailesh is involved in the KGP project under the Dorra Field Development Program in Abu Dhabi. Previous roles include Principal Civil/Structural Engineer at Worley, Area Lead at Wood for the Manifa FEED project, and CSA Lead Engineer on the S-OIL SHAHEEN Project FEED in South Korea. With a strong foundation in structural design from positions at reputable companies such as Kellogg Brown & Root and Bechtel Corporation, Shailesh has demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects, contributing to crucial developments like the Tengiz Oil Field Expansion in Kazakhstan and the Gorgon LNG Downstream project in Australia. Shailesh holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune.
