Matt Waller

Matt Waller is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leading technical teams and driving software development initiatives. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at SmartCert® since October 2024, Matt previously worked as an Engineering Manager at Serrala, where leadership of a diverse team resulted in the successful development of microservices for payment document processing used by over 150 global clients. With a background that includes roles as a Lead Developer at Miney Moe, Team Manager & Senior Software Engineer at United States Traffic Network, and Team Manager & Lead Game Developer at Megatouch, Matt has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, innovate product features, and enhance operational efficiencies. Matt's career began in the US Army, where responsibilities included training and mentoring soldiers, and education includes a Bachelor of Science in Programming from Full Sail University.
