As a Business Development Representative, you are responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities for the sales teams to pursue. BDRs generate demand primarily via outbound tele prospecting into assigned accounts and territories. In addition to tele, you’ll use a spectrum of tactics including email, social media, and chat.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Account Intelligence (industry knowledge, etc.)

  • Generate new demand for the sales organization to pursue

  • Qualify demand against established criteria before passing a lead to the Sales Organization

  • Discover, validate, and reach out to personas involved in the buying decision to determine possible buying groups for delivery to field sales

  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts to marketing and sales on the volume of qualified demand expected to reach the qualified demand stage of our pipeline

  • Track and manage prospecting, qualification, and nurture activities in the company’s Salesforce automation (SFA) system

Who You Are

  • Minimum 1-3 years prospecting experience in a high-tech B2B role

  • Knowledge of automotive/industrial/manufacturing/hi-tech industries a plus

  • Familiarity with sales lead management systems and Salesforce automation tools is a plus

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Active listening to assess a prospect’s needs and opportunities

  • Strong project management and time management skills

  • Must be a team player with an ability to work autonomously

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Proficiency in German & English required
