Sebastian Mandiola

Sebastian Mandiola has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles at ARAUCO and Arauco Wood Products Inc. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Product Manager and then as an Area Sales Manager at ARAUCO. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Sales Manager at Arauco Wood Products Inc, where they managed a key account and implemented sales programs. Sebastian then took on the role of Operations & IT Group Manager at the same company, responsible for managing and handling imported cargo. Returning to ARAUCO, Mandiola held the positions of Strategic Planning Manager and Administration and Strategic Planning Director, leading cost reduction initiatives and managing warehouse operations and contracts. Sebastian later assumed the roles of Supply Chain Director and Reliability Director, focusing on digital transformation and optimizing operations. Since 2019, they have been working as the R&D Director at ARAUCO. Throughout their career, Mandiola has showcased strong leadership skills and expertise in strategic planning, supply chain management, and sales.

Sebastian Mandiola completed an MBA in Operations & Management from Emory University - Goizueta Business School from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where they studied from 1998 to 2004. Before their university education, they attended San Pedro Nolasco from 1986 to 1997.
