Mark Copley

Mark Copley currently serves as the R&D Director at FAAM - Energy Saving Battery since October 2023. Prior to this role, Copley held multiple positions at WMG, University of Warwick from September 2019 to October 2023, including Chief Engineer in Electrochemical Materials and Manufacturing and Associate Professor. Copley's experience also includes a significant tenure at Johnson Matthey from April 2008 to September 2019, where the roles included Principal Scientist, Senior Principal Scientist, and Process Development Chemist. Earlier career experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at University College Cork, Ireland (UCC) from October 2005 to March 2008. Copley earned a PhD in Materials Chemistry from University College Cork between 2002 and 2005, with expertise in lithium ion technology and product and process development projects.
