Emilia Collins has worked in the software engineering field since 2014. Emilia began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Hamilton College, where they aided students with programming labs in class and during semiweekly designated hours, graded students' programming labs, tests, quizzes, and exams functionality and code style, acted as a Department Assistant and Private Tutor, and conducted research as a Research Assistant. In 2016, they became a Commerce Software Development Intern at IBM, where they wrote JUnit test cases for the login component of IBM's FTM product with 100% code coverage, resolved widespread logging issues after a reorganization of FTM's overarching structure, and verified resolved defects for QA on both a point-and-click level and on a database level. In 2017, they joined IBM as a Software Developer, and in 2021, they joined Aravo Solutions - Integrated Risk & Resilience as a Software Engineer.
Emilia Collins attended Berne-Knox-Westerlo Junior/Senior High School from 2009 to 2013 and earned their High School degree. Emilia then attended Hamilton College from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree with Departmental Honors in Computer Science.
