Moira Wilmes

Moira Wilmes has a long history of working in the software development industry. Moira began their career in 1992 as a Project Manager for Enterprise Systems Inc. (now McKesson), where they implemented Operating Room scheduling and inventory systems across 50 hospitals nationwide. In 1997, they moved to Pacific Bell as a Project Manager and was promoted to a lead after 10 months. During their brief time there, they set up and managed a project office with seven project managers. In 1998, they joined PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. as a Manager of Quality Assurance and Project Manager. There, they implemented an automated underwriting system at key mortgage lenders across the US. In 2005, they moved to Visa as Vice President of Transaction Services, where they introduced the concept of iterative development. Finally, in 2009, they joined Aravo Solutions as Sr. Director of Product Development. At Aravo, they helped clients accelerate and optimize their third-party risk and compliance management programs.

Moira Wilmes obtained their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University between 1987 and 1992. Moira has also obtained two certifications from the Scrum Alliance, a Certified Scrum Product Owner and a Certified ScrumMaster.
