Hassan Shaban

Hassan Shaban is a data scientist who has worked on the development of the OpenEEMeter, an open-source software for measurement and verification of energy efficiency savings. Hassan has also served as the lead data science methods tester for the CalTRACK standard. Shaban has a passion for mentoring students and professionals in data science, and has been working as a Data + Tech Consultant at Arber since October 2020.

Hassan Shaban has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, where they specialized in the application of advanced analytics algorithms for monitoring industrial processes. Hassan also has a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University.

Hassan Shaban reports to Vanessa Dawson, Founder and CEO. They work with Rebecca Alvandi - Director of Business Development, Matt Friesen - Head of Platform, and Pam Marrone - Chief Scientific Advisor.
