Raj Agrawal

Raj Agrawal has a wealth of experience in data science. Raj began their career in 2014 as an Undergraduate Student Instructor (UGSI) and Undergraduate Researcher at UC Berkeley, as well as a Math and Statistics Tutor. In 2015, they worked as a Data Scientist at Riviera Partners. Raj then worked as a Data Scientist at State Farm in 2016 and Farallon Capital Management in 2017. In 2017, they also became a Graduate Student Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since 2019, they have been working as Chief Scientist and AI Lead at ArbiLex, a data-driven marketplace for high-stakes litigation finance.

Raj Agrawal received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017. Raj then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2021.
