Heather Burton

Certified Facilitator and Arbinger Coaches Network Member at Arbinger Institute

Heather Burton has been working in the writing and education fields since 1989. Heather began as a writer, editor, and compiler of various genres of fiction and non-fiction. In 1987, they became a mother and partner with their husband. In 1994, they began working as a writer and program creator for Leadership Education. From 2000 to 2004, they volunteered as a leadership education advocate and mentor. In 2008, they joined Arbinger as a certified facilitator and Arbinger Coaches Network Member, and also became a member of the Global Leadership Team. Heather also served as the Managing Director of Personal and Family Services for Arbinger. In 2010, they joined the Lethbridge CPC Electoral District Association Board as Secretary. In 2008, they became an Education Advisor for Shinah House. In 2014, they began working as a teacher at Westwind Alternate School/Westwind School Division, where they work with students from ages 6 to 18 and their parents in English language arts and other subjects.

Heather Burton attended Brigham Young University from 1981 to 1984, where they completed undergraduate studies in English, foreign language, and humanities. Heather then attended The University of Lethbridge from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained a B. Ed. in English and Education.
