Ian Marchant

Ian Marchant is an accomplished executive and academic with extensive experience in board roles across various industries. Currently serving as Non Executive Director at arbnco and Fred. Olsen Limited, and Chair at Morgan Advanced Materials, Ian also holds positions as Director at Dunelm Energy and Honorary President of The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland since April 2016. In academia, Ian is a Visiting Professor at both The University of Edinburgh and Durham University. Previous leadership roles include Chairman at Logan Energy Limited and Thames Water, as well as Non Executive Director at Aggreko. Ian Marchant earned a degree in Economics from Durham University between 1979 and 1983.
