John Qiang Su (JQ)

JQ, or John Qiang Su, has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Verisk, a role they held until 2008. 🌎"JQ" John Qiang then moved on to Swiss Re Financial Services, where they served as the Vice President of Product Development and Strategy from 2008 to 2011. Following that, from 2011 to 2015, they worked at American Express as Director of Finance. In 2015, JQ joined HNA Capital International as the COO and then became the CEO of HNA Tech Investments in 2016. 🌎"JQ" John Qiang then transitioned to Pedogenesis Fund Management in 2018 as the Managing Director until 2021. JQ's most recent role is as a Founding Partner at Ardeabay Capital starting in 2021. Currently, they hoholdhe position of Head of Product Development at Arbol, a leading parametric MGA focused on climate risk management.

JQ John Qiang Su holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Tsinghua University. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications in Global Finance Leadership from The Wharton School, Innovation and Leadership from Stanford University, and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) from the Casualty Actuarial Society.
