Tom Ducharme

Tom Ducharme, CMA, MBA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Tom is currently working as the Director of Cost Accounting at Arbonne since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) as part of the Global Operations Finance team from May 2021 to December 2022. Before that, Tom served as a Virtual School Teaching Assistant at Pandemic Parent from August 2020 to March 2022.

In terms of their previous corporate finance roles, Tom worked as a Controller at Applied Composites from April 2019 to February 2021, where they led the finance function and team for a $30M Aerospace Machine Shop and Composite Manufacturer. Prior to that, they were a Controller at 3V Fasteners Company, Inc. from August 2015 to April 2019, where they provided financial leadership for a $30M Aerospace Fastener Manufacturer and achieved cost savings.

Tom also held the position of Controller at Parex USA, Inc. from March 2014 to August 2015, where they managed a team of 8 and oversaw various finance functions for a $90M building products company. Tom played a key role in implementing improvements and best practices for more accurate and GAAP compliant reporting.

Before joining Parex USA, Inc., Tom served as an Operations Controller at Henry Company from May 2012 to March 2014, where they managed operational finance activities for a $300M building products company and streamlined processes for better understanding of costs.

Prior to that, Tom worked as an Operations Controller at Amonix, Inc. from July 2010 to February 2012, where they led the operational finance function for a $100M solar company and managed process establishment and improvement.

Tom started their career as an Assistant Plant Controller at Crane Energy Flow Solutions from June 2007 to July 2010, where they led finance and accounting functions for an industrial valve production and sales facility.

Tom also served as an Operations Controller at Wilhelm Karmann GmbH from November 2005 to June 2007, where they managed operational accounting functions for a $200M automotive convertible production company and implemented process improvements.

Tom Ducharme, CMA, MBA completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, specializing in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from the University of Windsor in 2002. Tom further pursued their studies at the USC Marshall School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, they obtained a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario between 2005 and 2008. Tom Ducharme also has a background in Investment Finance from the CFA Institute, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Tom is also a certified CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) with CMA specialization from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
