Whitney Johnson is a Senior Scientist at Arbor Biotechnologies since February 2022, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from August 2017 to February 2022, focusing on abnormal chromosome segregation in cancer through organoid models and cell culture in David Pellman's lab. From September 2009 to August 2017, Whitney served as a Graduate Student at Stanford University, conducting research on RNA-dependent regulation of constitutive heterochromatin in Aaron Straight's lab, which involved the characterization of non-coding RNAs from human centromeres. Whitney holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Stanford University (2009-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Southwestern University (2005-2009).
