Lafe Bringman has extensive work experience in law enforcement and maintenance roles. Lafe started their career in 1995 as a Military Police officer in the USMC, where they trained infantry units in non-lethal weapons and riot control techniques. Lafe then worked as a Marine Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service from 2001 to 2007. During this time, they provided training to US and Iraqi forces on search techniques and evidence handling and conducted post-blast crime scene examinations. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Criminal Investigator and Intelligence Analyst in the USMC, where they conducted investigations and recovered evidence to identify bomb makers. Lafe continued their career as a Criminal Investigator in the USMC from 2009 to 2020, supervising investigations and managing training standards. In 2018, they joined Capital Senior Living as a Maintenance Director, and in 2020, they became the Director of Maintenance at The Arbor Company.

Lafe Bringman obtained a High School diploma from St. Clairsville High School between the years 1990 and 1994. Following this, they pursued higher education at Park University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.
