Stas Zinchik

Stas Zinchik, Ph.D., is a Principal Carbon Conversion Engineer at Arbor since August 2023 and has served as Principal at ZiTechnologies, Inc. since April 2020, focusing on commercializing waste torrefaction technologies to manage NON-recyclable wastes. From July 2016 to August 2022, Stas worked as a Research Development Engineer at Michigan Technological University and held the position of Mechanical Engineer at EB Clean Energy from January 2013 to July 2016. Key responsibilities included the operation and maintenance of a 10,000 ton/year torrefaction facility in Israel and the development of a 50,000 ton/year pilot-scale facility in Oregon. Stas Zinchik earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2019 and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2013.
