Lisa Henn

Dr. Henn received her PhD in biostatistics in 2015 from the University of Minnesota. Her methodological research interests include clustering and the limitations of Bayesian statistical methods and hypothesis tests for complex, high-dimensional data objects. Additionally, she has delineated conditions governing the emergence of multiple maxima in restricted likelihood and posterior distributions as well as the performance of Gaussian copula regression models when applied to non-continuous data. She has broad experience in statistical analysis approaches ranging from causal inference to item response theory. Additionally, she has over 10 years’ experience in the medical device industry as a mechanical engineer in roles spanning research, production, project management, and functional management.

Dr. Henn leads operational improvement initiatives and serves as a statistician for the Childhood Liver Disease Research Network (ChiLDReN), supported by the National Institute for Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. For Medicare’s End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Quality Incentive Program (QIP), she validates measure implementation and conducts methodological research into potential QIP improvements. She also provides analytic support for the Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study (DOPPS) and as well as methodological support for newly proposed projects. Dr. Henn joined Arbor Research in 2016.
