Paul Waltner

Paul is a commercial and business attorney with experience in the US and overseas. He has worked for law firms in Michigan and in the countries of Kuwait, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates and has served as General Counsel to investment companies in Bahrain and the UAE. Paul advises on contracts, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and industry compliance, technology licensing, human resources, cross border transactions, private equity/alternative investments, real estate, corporate governance, and risk management. Paul has worked in the non-profit sector for a defense contractor and advised on the commercialization of technology developed at Michigan State University. He also has worked in business operations for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. Paul obtained his Juris Doctor at Western Michigan University-Thomas M. Cooley Law School and has a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University.
