Massachusetts Gaming Commission
Ying Wang, Esq. serves as the Associate General Counsel for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission since September 2022 and as a Military Justice Advisor for the New Hampshire Army National Guard since December 2024. Wang has a diverse legal background with experience in various roles within the US Army, including Trial Counsel and Legal Assistance Attorney. Previously, Wang was an Assistant District Attorney at the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and held multiple positions at State Street, focusing on legal documentation and contract negotiation. Wang also gained legislative experience as a legislative fellow for MA State Representative Elizabeth A. Malia and completed internships at the Massachusetts Trial Court, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, City of Boston Police Department, and Greater Boston Legal Services. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston and a B.S. in Marketing Communication from Emerson College.

The mission of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission is to create a fair, transparent, and participatory process for implementing the expanded gaming law passed by the Legislature and signed by the Governor in November, 2011. In creating that process, the Commission will strive to ensure that its decision-making and regulatory systems engender the confidence of the public and participants, and that they provide the greatest possible economic development benefits and revenues to the people of the Commonwealth, reduce to the maximum extent possible the potentially negative or unintended consequences of the new legislation, and allow an appropriate return on investment for gaming providers that assures the operation of casino-resorts of the highest quality.
