Shawn Tian

Programmer I at Arbor Research Collaborative for Health

Dr. Tian got his doctorate degree in Pharmacology from Peking Union Medical College in China in 2012. Then he had been working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Cardiac Surgery in the University of Michigan since 2013 and was promoted to a Research Investigator position in 2018. He joined Arbor Research in April 2022. He has experience in analyzing and interpreting data in preclinical and clinical studies, large scale sequencing, and proteomics. His experience is evidenced by over 30 peer reviewed papers and patents.

Complementing his experience in statistical analysis, he has achieved certification as a SAS Advanced Programmer. As a programmer in Arbor Research, Dr. Tian provides programming support for the projects of Childhood Liver Disease Research Network (ChiLDReN) and Evaluation of the End-Stage Renal Disease Treatment Choices Model and the Kidney Care Choices Model (ETC-KCC).
