Marcy Marshall

Marcy is responsible for Arboretum’s financial and administrative operations. In addition to overseeing the firm’s day-to-day accounting and human resource functions, she manages investor reporting and oversees the partnerships’ audit and tax process. She also works closely with outside counsel on fund formation, regulatory and compliance matters. Since 2006, she has been a member of the NVCA CFO task force.

Prior to joining Arboretum in 2004, Marcy was an adjunct faculty member at Davenport University, where she taught accounting and finance courses. She also worked at May Department Stores, where she held positions in capital planning and budgeting. Early in her career, she managed financial assets for 3M Corporation and ITT Consumer Financial Corporation.

Marcy earned a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
