Adam Metaxas

Adam Metaxas is an experienced professional in the fields of urban planning and environmental studies, currently serving as the Area District Manager at ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC since February 2012. Previously, Adam held the position of Intern Coordinator at The Victory Garden Initiative from August 2010 to May 2011, where responsibilities included the development of an internet map and a Google Fusion Table database for fruit and nut-bearing trees and shrubs, which was later ported to the ArcGIS Flex Viewer in an ArcServer environment. Prior experience also includes working as a Consulting Forester and Arborist at The Davey Tree Expert Company from May 2001 to May 2006, providing direct consultation to PG&E in its Central Coast Division as an ISA Certified Arborist. Adam's educational background includes a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a degree in Urban & Regional Planning from San Jose State University, and a degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Agroecology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
