Mechanical Engineer at Arc Boats

Cristian Porter has worked for various companies since 2012. Cristian began their career as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor for the City of Vacaville, where they guarded for various swim shifts and taught swim lessons to children and adults of varying ages. In 2015, they took on the role of an EMT at Six Flags, while also becoming Head of Mechanical Design at Formula Slug, where they led the design team for the 2016 FSAE car and designed components for suspension, electric powertrain, drivetrain, and driver safety. Cristian then went on to work as a Mechanical Engineer on the Testing Team at Joby Aviation from 2018 to 2022, before taking on the role of Vehicle Engineer at Arc Boat Company.

Cristian Porter attended San Jose State University from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Prior to that, they attended University of California, Santa Cruz from 2013 to 2016, where they studied Robotics Engineering.
