William Marling

William "Marc" Marling has a long and varied work experience in the field of information technology. William "Marc" started their career as a Network Administrator at Digital Printing Center in 2005, where they managed online document distribution and storage for the AEC community. William "Marc" later became a Divisional Network/Database/Server Administrator, responsible for maintaining server hardware, backups, and managing VPN connections between locations.

In 2007, Marling joined The IDM Group, a division of ARC, as a Divisional Director of Information Technology & Onsite Services. William "Marc" managed a team of IT professionals and oversaw systems administration, helpdesk support, and infrastructure management for 8 locations in the greater Chicago area. William "Marc" also performed regional managed print services for various accounts.

In 2011, Marling transitioned to ARC Document Solutions as a Divisional Director of Information Technology & Onsite Services, continuing their responsibilities from their previous role. William "Marc" later became a Regional Director of Information Technology, where they managed a larger team and focused on aligning IT skill sets with competitive advantage. William "Marc" standardized network infrastructure, server hardware, and directory structure.

In their most recent role as the Corporate Director of Software Services & Support, starting in January 2016, Marling managed a team of national IT professionals. William "Marc" reviewed and analyzed processes and procedures across multiple locations and employees to maximize standardization and controls. William "Marc" implemented standards while maintaining scalability for operations of different sizes.

William "Marc" Marling earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the years 1996 to 2002. William "Marc" later pursued a Masters degree in Information Systems Management at the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, from 2003 to 2006.
