William "Marc" Marling has a long and varied work experience in the field of information technology. William "Marc" started their career as a Network Administrator at Digital Printing Center in 2005, where they managed online document distribution and storage for the AEC community. William "Marc" later became a Divisional Network/Database/Server Administrator, responsible for maintaining server hardware, backups, and managing VPN connections between locations.

In 2007, Marling joined The IDM Group, a division of ARC, as a Divisional Director of Information Technology & Onsite Services. William "Marc" managed a team of IT professionals and oversaw systems administration, helpdesk support, and infrastructure management for 8 locations in the greater Chicago area. William "Marc" also performed regional managed print services for various accounts.

In 2011, Marling transitioned to ARC Document Solutions as a Divisional Director of Information Technology & Onsite Services, continuing their responsibilities from their previous role. William "Marc" later became a Regional Director of Information Technology, where they managed a larger team and focused on aligning IT skill sets with competitive advantage.
