Adam Surjan

Adam Surjan is an experienced professional in the field of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management, with a solid background in rail safety. Currently serving as the Governance & Risk Lead for HSE Delivery at Arc Infrastructure since June 2018, Adam leads a team focused on enhancing safety outcomes and implementing critical safety risk programs. Previous roles include Governance and Risk Senior Partner, where Adam oversaw workplace health and safety investigations and fostered collaboration with various teams, and HSE Advisor, responsible for evaluating rail safety management plans. Adam's career also includes significant positions at Monadelphous, Speno Rail Maintenance Australia Pty Ltd, and UGL, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of safety practices across diverse environments. Adam holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Curtin University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise from The University of Western Australia.
