Azar Shirdel

Azar Shirdel is a Development Engineering Technologist at ARC Resources Ltd. since July 2023, with prior experience as an Enhanced Oil Recovery Development Co-op Student at Husky Energy from September 2018 to 2020, where responsibilities included managing CO2 EOR projects and supporting field operations. Azar completed a practicum at the Alberta Energy Regulator in summer 2018, focusing on compliance for remediation and contamination efforts. Previous work includes serving as an R&D Engineer at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, conducting research on gas separation technologies. Azar holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering from Azad University of Tehran North Branch and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Azad University, with education completed between 2011 and 2019.
