MacHaria Maruvu

Macharia Maruvu is a Research and Development Engineer at ARC Ride since August 2022, specializing in vehicle R&D and battery swapping ecosystems. Previously, Macharia served as Chief Technology Officer at Kiri EV LTD from July 2021 to July 2022 and co-founded Golden Basket Limited in April 2020, providing food distribution solutions in Nairobi. Early career experiences include roles as a Data Specialist at CloudFactory from February 2017 to January 2018, and engineering apprenticeships at Phoenix Aviation Kenya and Bush Air Safari, where maintenance of aircraft was a primary focus. Macharia holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester and completed A levels at Peponi Secondary School from 2007 to 2012.
