Jon Brusven has had a long and successful career in the finance industry. Jon began their career in 1995 as an Investment Officer and Equity Analyst at First Chicago Investment Management Co. In 1996, they moved to Investment Advisers, Inc. (Lloyds TSB) as an Associate Vice President, where they were an equity analyst and portfolio manager. In 1998, they joined HOLT Value Associates as a Director, Corporate Advisory, and in 2002, they became a Principal at Longship Advisers, LLC, where they advised investment trusts on asset allocation and investment manager retention. In 2003, they co-founded USA Energy Group, LLC and became a Managing Principal. In 2015, they became a Director Board of Directors at Dymedix Diagnostics, Inc. ®, where they were responsible for the best performing sleep sensors in the industry. In 2016, they became a Director Board of Directors at Arc Suppression Technologies, and in 2019, they became a Director Board of Directors at USA Energy Group LLC.
Jon Brusven completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Olaf College in 1988. Jon then obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in August 1993. Jon then went on to complete their MBA in Finance from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business in 1995.
