Sonia Blount

Sonia Blount M.S. serves as the Associate Director of Employer Relations at Arcadia University, managing the employer relations program and conducting employer surveys. Additionally, Sonia is the Chief Events Officer at Kabila Events, overseeing the planning and coordination of a variety of special events. Previous roles include Director of Pop-Up Events with the City of Philadelphia, where community engagement initiatives were developed, and Director of Career Development at KIPP Philadelphia Schools, managing career integration initiatives. Sonia's career also includes experience as Community Workforce Director at Eagles Wings Ministries, Employer Engagement Navigator at The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, Recruitment & Selection Specialist at The School District of Philadelphia, and Outreach Specialist at Temple University. Sonia holds a Master of Science in Innovation Strategy and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management from Temple University, in addition to an Associate degree in Business from the Community College of Philadelphia.
