Liam Franklyn

Liam Franklyn is an accomplished professional in the mining and resources sector with extensive experience in operations and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Australian Operations at Arcadium Lithium since January 2024, Liam oversees the Mt Cattlin mine following the merger with Livent. Previously, as Head of Australian Operations at Allkem Limited from February 2021 to May 2024, Liam was responsible for the Mt Cattlin Lithium Mine and provided corporate leadership in health, safety, and security across multiple regions. Liam's experience also includes key management roles at Newcrest Mining and BHP Billiton, where responsibilities spanned maintenance management and production oversight. Liam holds Bachelor's degrees in Materials Engineering and Chemistry from The University of Western Australia, earned between 1995 and 1999.
