Nihat Bayız

Nihat Bayız graduated from Middle East Technical University, Mechanical Engineering Department in 1993. He completed AMP - Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2016.

Nihat BAYIZ is the R&D Director of Arçelik Group. Bayız started his professional career in Aselsan A.Ş. as Research and Development Engineer in 1993. He started working in Arçelik A.Ş. as an engineer in Production & Engineering Department in 1994. Since November 2017, he has been working as the R&D Director of Arçelik A.Ş. He is currently leading 20 R&D Centers in 6 different countries namely Turkey, Romania, Taiwan, the UK, Thailand, and China.

Bayız is an active Member of KUAR (Koç University Arçelik Creative Industries Research Center), Koç University Engineering Department Advisory Board, and METU MEMS (Middle East Technical University Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems Research and Application Center) along with the other memberships of Harvard and METU Alumni Associations. He is also supporting national and international institute memberships and leading innovation initiatives. He is a member of the YPO – Romania chapter since 2017. He is a member of the World Economic Forum Global IoT Council.
