Florent MICHEL is an experienced sales and procurement professional with a proven track record in the iron and steel industry, currently serving as Sales Manager By-Products at ArcelorMittal since September 2011. With extensive responsibilities including managing a portfolio of by-products and leading procurement teams for Capex and maintenance projects, Florent has contributed to significant cost savings and operational efficiencies across multiple sites in France and Italy. Previous roles include Engineering Capex Procurement Manager at Syngenta and Purchasing Manager at Alstom, demonstrating expertise in capital project procurement and global sourcing strategies. Florent holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grenoble INP - Ense3 and a post-graduate degree in Procurement from KEDGE Business School.
