Gaurav Nagpal

Gaurav Nagpal serves as General Manager and Head of Marketing, Pricing & Strategy at ArcelorMittal South Africa, the largest steel producer in Africa. With extensive experience at ArcelorMittal since June 2005, Gaurav has held several key roles including Chief Financial Officer for ArcelorMittal Shipping, overseeing finance and strategy for a $1.5 billion logistics operation. Earlier, Gaurav contributed as Executive Assistant to the Group Management Board, driving projects to optimize operations post-merger. Gaurav's career began in software development at Infosys, followed by a summer internship at Kotak Securities, focusing on CRM systems. Gaurav holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a BE in Metallurgical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur.
