John McDaniel

John McDaniel began their work experience in 1997 as the Director of Engineering and Technical Services Eastern Operations at Arch Coal, Inc. John held this position until 2011. During their time at Arch Coal, they were responsible for overseeing engineering and technical services for the company's operations in the Eastern region. In 2011, they joined the West Virginia Coal Association as the Chairman of the Environmental-Technical Committee.

John McDaniel obtained a BSET degree in Mining Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology, completing their education from 1976 to 1980.
