Ross Hoover

Ross Hoover is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as the Director of Process Improvement at Arch Resources, Inc. since July 2016. Previously held roles include Prep Plant Shift Coordinator and Mining Engineer at the same company. Ross began their career with an internship as a Mining Engineering Intern at Arch Coal, Inc. and further developed skills as a Mining Engineer and Management Trainee Intern at Mach Mining LLC. Ross holds a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Charleston, earned between August 2020 and December 2022, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, completed in 2016.
