Vanessa Rousseau

Vanessa Rousseau has a diverse and extensive work experience. Vanessa started their career in 2001 as an Adjunct Instructor in the Art History Department at the University of St. Thomas. Vanessa later became an Adjunct Professor in the same department. In 2007, they worked as an Antiquities Consultant at the Weisman Art Museum until 2018. In 2008, they became President of the Minnesota Society at the Archaeological Institute of America. Vanessa also worked as a Specialist for Wall Paintings and Skoutlosis at the Archaeological Exploration of Sardis. In addition, they have held teaching positions at Macalester College and the University of Minnesota.

Vanessa Rousseau has a strong educational background in the field of Art History. Vanessa obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Art History at the University of St. Thomas in 2001. Vanessa'seducational journey began at the University of Minnesota, where they pursued an Interdepartmental degree in Art History, Ancient Studies, and Art, completing it in 1994.
