Ed Danaher

Ed Danaher is the Managing Director and Founder of Archaeological Management Solutions (AMS) since April 2011, having taken on roles as Lead Project Archaeologist for Flood Relief Schemes in the Republic of Ireland. Prior to AMS, Ed held the position of Principal Archaeologist at Jacobs from May 2014 to November 2015, managing multiple projects, including the A9 Dualling scheme. Ed also served as Senior Archaeologist at Mouchel UK Ltd. from January 2013 to April 2014, focusing on the management of archaeological contractors and site supervision. From April 2007 to April 2011, Ed was the NRA Project Archaeologist for the National Roads Authority, overseeing archaeological aspects of the road building program. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Archaeologist at Archaeological Consultancy Services Unit from January 2001 to April 2007, managing various archaeological contracts. Ed Danaher is educated at the University of Galway and the University of Bradford.
