Trang Tran

Trang Tran has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Trang began their career at Archangel Imaging in 2016 as a Co-Founder and COO. In 2017, they also became a Co-Founder and COO at Archangel Lightworks.

Trang also worked as an Operations Manager at Archangel Aerospace Group, where they were responsible for internal operations and business development-related projects, HR, and R&D. Trang focused on performance improvement and growth, facilitating employee productivity and learning through knowledge sharing programs and central systems.

Prior to that, Trang held various roles at Polygeia, including Interim President of the Oxford branch and Recruitment Officer. Trang led recruitment rounds and was responsible for publicity and correspondences with applicants.

Trang also worked as a Student Consultant at The Student Consultancy at the University of Oxford, providing consultancy services to local businesses and organizations.

Their previous experience includes working as a Qualified Vietnamese Legal Interpreter at Thebigword, providing interpreting services in legal settings, and as a Market Research Assistant at Europe Japan Centre, conducting market research reports.

Trang also gained research experience as a Research Intern at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where they investigated the use of synthetic peptides in serological diagnosis for Chagas Disease and co-authored a published paper.

Trang Tran completed their high school education at Abbey College, Cambridge from 2009 to 2011, majoring in Mathematics, Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry. Trang then pursued their undergraduate degree at King's College London from 2011 to 2015, specializing in Biomedical Science with an Extramural Year and focusing on Neuroscience. Trang went on to further their education at the University of Oxford, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Pharmacology from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they enrolled at Oxford Brookes University and completed their MSc in Business Management and Entrepreneurship in 2018. In terms of certifications, Trang obtained a Diploma in Public Services Interpreting (Law) from The Chartered Institute of Linguists in September 2014. Trang also obtained a certification in Video Production Techniques: Promotional Videos from LinkedIn in October 2016, and a certification in Administrative Human Resources from Lynda.com in December 2016.
