Rob Brock

Director Of The Office For Strategic Planning at Archdiocese of Cincinnati

Rob Brock has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Rob began their career at Cintas in 2005, where they held various roles including Project Leader, IT Manager, SAP Technical Manager, and eventually PMO Services Manager. In their role as PMO Services Manager, they successfully facilitated the integration of corporate financial and global supply chain functions for 430 Cintas locations. Rob also managed a $40M annual project pipeline and ensured proper resource utilization within the IT department.

In 2016, Rob joined the Archdiocese of Cincinnati as the Catechetical Institute Coordinator, where they proposed and managed the execution of an online catechist certification training program. Rob was responsible for all aspects of the project, including funding, training and management of the team, acquisition of course content, vendor selection and management, and customer support.

In 2017, Rob transitioned to Gate Of Heaven Catholic Cemetery as a Field Superintendent. In this role, they directed the overall operations of the buildings and grounds, ensuring compliance with Church guidelines and standards. Rob handled complaints, provided customer service, established operational procedures, enforced OSHA standards, reviewed contracts, and managed equipment and safety training.

Rob returned to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in 2019 as the Director of the Office for Strategic Planning. In this position, they supported the Archbishop and other leaders in tasks related to strategic planning, data collection and analysis, and Church research. Rob completed the Beacons of Light Strategic Planning Phase, which involved extensive data gathering and the approval of parish groupings.

Rob Brock earned their Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 1982 to 1985. Later, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Theology/Theological Studies at Mount St. Mary's Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM).
