Bill Jamieson has a rich career spanning over five decades in communications and public relations. Since October 1992, Bill has served as a Permanent Deacon and Communications Specialist for the Archdiocese of Detroit, ordained by Adam Cardinal Maida. Bill's prior experience includes roles as Public Relations Specialist and Account Director at PCGCampbell Marketing Communications from July 1996 to February 2009, where effective media coverage for clients like Ford Motor Company was coordinated. Additionally, Bill held the position of Director of Public Relations for the Detroit Red Wings from September 1982 to June 1996, earning accolades such as Public Relations Director of the Year multiple times and overseeing notable media relations programs. Bill’s early career included roles at The Sporting News as Managing Editor and The Detroit News as Copy Editor and Assistant Sports Editor. Bill also served in the US Navy from January 1969 to January 1971 aboard the USS Oklahoma City during the Vietnam War. Bill holds a degree in Theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary, completing studies in 1992.
