Deacon Jim Lavin

Deacon Jim Lavin serves as a Chaplain at Catholic Community Health since February 2017 and holds the position of Deacon and full-time Web Manager at the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas since 2011. Their previous experience includes pastoral ministry at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where Deacon Jim provided care for the homebound and served as a Spiritual Director, as well as a Technology Coordinator at Holy Spirit Catholic School, where Deacon Jim taught computer skills and managed IT. Jim's early career features roles in media and communications, including Marketing Manager for the Kansas City Symphony and Communications Director for the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Educational background includes formal training at Saint Meinrad School of Theology and a degree in Music Performance with a minor in Journalism from Wichita State University.
