Kim Specht

Mission Office Director at Archdiocese of St. Louis

Kim Specht has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. Kim started their career as a 7-12 Math Instructor at St. Francis Catholic School from August 2012 to May 2014. During 2014, they also worked as a Summer Intern at Magis Catholic Teacher Corps and as a Retreat Leader at The REAP Team. From July 2016 to March 2020, Kim served as a Mission Animation Coordinator at the Archdiocese of St. Louis, where they assisted parishes and agencies with mission formation. Kim was later promoted to Mission Office Interim Director from March 2020 until July 2021 and is currently working as the Mission Office Director.

Kim Specht received their Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from Rockhurst University, where they majored in Math/Theology and minored in Catholic Studies/Philosophy. Kim attended Rockhurst University from 2008 to 2012. After completing their undergraduate studies, Kim pursued a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at Creighton University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. During their time at Creighton University, they also obtained a Standard Teaching Certificate in Mathematics 7-12. Later, in March 2016, Kim obtained a Standard Teaching Certificate in Religious Education K-12, although the institution from which they obtained this certification is unspecified.
