Zareena Valappil

Zareena Valappil is an experienced professional in the flavor industry, currently serving as Senior Technical Director and Chief Global Flavorist at ADM since April 2019. Prior to this role, Zareena held positions at Symrise AG as Global Lead Citrus and Vanilla, and at Takasago as Citrus Flavor Chemist and Senior Scientist. Earlier career contributions include serving as a Visiting Scientist at USDA and as a Scientific Officer at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Zareena Valappil earned a PhD in Food Science from the University of Florida and a Masters in Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard.
