Felisa Zhang has over 20 years of experience in systems engineering and management. Felisa is currently working as a Lead Systems Engineer at Archer, where they are responsible for overseeing the development of systems. Prior to their current role, Felisa worked at AeroTEC - Aerospace Testing Engineering & Certification Inc. as a Group Lead for Systems Engineering. In this role, they established a robust Systems Engineering product development life-cycle and mentored systems engineers. Before that, Felisa held the position of Lead Systems Engineer at Crane Aerospace for over 13 years. Their responsibilities included designing and integrating next-generation aircraft controls and sensors for commercial avionics market. Felisa's career began at MDA (Previously MD Robotics) as a Systems Engineer & Quality Analyst, where they contributed to a Canadian Space Agency sponsored R&D program. Felisa played a key role in designing and fabricating a model of the Mars Exploration Arm.
Felisa Zhang has a certificate in Models in Engineering from MIT xPRO in 2020. Felisa obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2005. Prior to their Master's degree, Felisa received a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science - Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto from 1997 to 2002. Felisa completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme from 1994 to 1997.
