Spencer Fugal

Spencer Fugal is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as a Senior CFD Engineer at Archer since June 2021. With a robust background at Aerion Supersonic since April 2015, Fugal has held positions including Director of Aerodynamics, where responsibilities included interfacing across disciplines for integrated airplane design, Engineering Manager of Aerodynamics, leading a team on AS2 configuration development, and Aerodynamics Engineer, focusing on AS2 airplane aerodynamics analysis. Prior experience includes a decade at Boeing as an Aerodynamics Engineer, performing aerodynamic analysis and optimization for air vehicles, along with design work at DuPont Holographics and CFD research at Utah State University. Fugal holds a Diploma Course in Aerospace from the vonKarman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, as well as a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University.
