Archer
William Huang, PhD, currently serves as the Manager of Battery Cell Engineering at Archer, leading initiatives in cell qualification, modeling, testing, and technology roadmap development since September 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Cell Materials Engineer at Tesla, where William focused on the evaluation and characterization of anode active materials, and a PhD Researcher at Stanford University under Yi Cui, conducting advanced studies on interfacial degradation in next-generation battery chemistries. William has also held positions as a Cell Materials Intern at Tesla, an Undergraduate Researcher at UC San Diego, an NSF-REU Intern at Northwestern University MRSEC, and an Intern at Sandia National Laboratories. William obtained a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Nanoengineering from UC San Diego.
