Jeffrey Falk

Director, IVD Companion Diagnostics & Assay Development at ArcherDX

Jeffrey Falk has over 30 years of experience in the medical and biotechnology fields. Jeffrey has held various roles in research, R&D, business development, and technology applications. Theirwork experience began in 1990 when they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Scripps Research Institute. From 1996 to 1999, they were a Senior Scientist at Signal Pharmaceuticals. At Chugai Biopharmaceuticals (A Gen-Probe Affiliate), they served as the Assistant Director of Molecular Biology & Genomics from 1999 to 2003. After that, they were the Director of R&D at DNA Microarray from 2003 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they were the Director of Technology Applications & Business Development at Aviva Systems Biology. Jeffrey then served as the Director of Technical Services & Business Development at RiboMed Biotechnologies & RiboMed Clinical Services Laboratory from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they were the Clinical Diagnostic Oncology Assay Development & Biomarker Discovery at MDxHealth. From 2014 to 2018, they were the Associate Director of Assay Development at Genoptix Medical Laboratory, a Novartis Company. Most recently, they have been the Director, IVD Companion Diagnostics & Assay Development at ArcherDX, Inc. since 2019.

Jeffrey Falk completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology from Clark University in 1978. Jeffrey then obtained their Master of Science in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University in 1980. Finally, they earned their PhD in Molecular Biology from Purdue University in 1986.
