Chase Pettet

Chase Pettet has extensive experience in the field of security and risk management. Chase currently serves as the Chief Security Architect at Archer Integrated Risk Management, where they lead the Product & Application Security team. Chase is responsible for implementing continuous security practices and ensuring secure product development.

Prior to their current role, Chase worked as the Lead Product Security Architect at Mirantis, where they played a key role in ensuring the security of the company's products. Chase also served as a Staff Security Architect at the Wikimedia Foundation, where they provided senior leadership for security concerns across the organization.

In addition to their security roles, Chase has held various technical and engineering positions. Chase has worked as a Network, Security, and Systems Engineer at deviantART, Inc., and as a Senior Network and Systems Administrator at EML. Chase also has experience as a Network Engineer at SAIC, where they managed routing and switching for an enterprise network.

Chase has a strong background in IT support, having worked as an Information Systems Analyst at Saint Luke's Health System, a Contract Network Consultant, and a Contract Network Technician. Chase also served as a Desktop Support Analyst at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Throughout their career, Chase has demonstrated expertise in risk management, security architecture, infrastructure management, and technical leadership. Chase has a proven track record of implementing and maintaining security measures to protect organizations from potential threats.

Chase Pettet obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Network and Communications Management from DeVry University, which they attended from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2001, they obtained an A+ Certification from CompTIA, followed by a Network+ certification in 2002. In 2006, they achieved a CCNA certification from Cisco and also completed the Fast Start in Project Management Certificate program offered by Systemation. In 2010, Chase received a completion certificate for completing the Juniper SRX Boot Camp from Juniper. More recently, in 2020, they became an Exam Developer: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist through The Linux Foundation. In 2021, they acquired certifications in Gitlab 101 and Gitlab 201 from GitLab, as well as the Product Management Foundations certificate from the Product Institute.
